Throughout this learner-centered workshop, attendees will have opportunity to see a multitude of creative tips and techniques in action. They will also get to actively participate in designing
or selecting and using their own props and strategies to practice through peer teachbacks.
At the end of this workshop, and when applying what you learn, you will be able to:
- Apply the latest brain-based research related to how the brain best processes information and learns;
- Create a stimulating learning environment in which participants can gain maximum comprehension of session content;
- Plan activities that cause positive brain functioning to reinforce learning outcomes;
- Review program content through interim reviews that regularly reinforce key concepts;
- Prepare your own creative training aids and props from a variety of inexpensive and readily available sources;
- Use a variety of training aids, equipment, props and techniques to more effectively get your message across to all learners;
- Generate participant enthusiasm through use of a variety of creative, brain-based learning strategies;
- Form groups, select leaders and scribes in using a variety of fun and novel approaches;
- Deal with a variety of difficult learners and learning situations;
- Better ensure that what is taught is gained, retained and able to be recalled and acted upon later by learners;
- Have a better vision of how to develop and deliver training that really works and keeps learners coming back for more!
